Personal Lines Client Assistant

This position is highly engaged in the customer service process. They will be directly assisting Client Managers committed to best in industry customer service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with Client Manager or Producer to ensure all applicable information is received for quoting all client activity utilizing department systems (PL Quoter, Lexis/Nexis, EPIC).
  • Coordinate upfront underwriting to determine best fit for client account proposals. Review all risks and limits to confirm account is being quoted with agency standards.
  • Prepare all documents required for agency billed policies, transact premium and prepare invoice for Client Manager to present to the client.
  • Audit Processing and accuracy of data in management system (EPIC) as well as on all policies. Verify changes, new policies and cancellations for accuracy on carrier site.
  • Manage claims activities for designated new claims and submit to carriers; confirm claim is received and adjusted is assigned, handle any questions of follow up calls as needed from insured or adjuster.
  • Invoice agency billed policies at issuance, changes or cancellation. Process any refunds or adjusted premiums to clients in a timely manner.
  • Issue Certificates of Insurance when needed or requested by clients, banks, etc.
  • Manage tasks expertly and in support of high-volume activity as generated by Client Managers.

  • Minimum (1) year experience in insurance client services
  • GA P&C Insurance License
