Employee Benefits Client Executive
The Client Executive is a licensed professional who serves as an insurance advisor and consultant to a book of clients. The Client Executive will work with clients to develop an insurance program that will adequately respond to the client’s total risk management needs. They will work closely with the producer in new and renewal client activity and deliver on SWIA service standards.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build, maintain, and enhance client relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and annual retention goals
- Direct overall service delivery for the lifecycle of the client, which standardly includes pre-renewal planning, renewal strategy, open enrollment, and post-renewal follow-up
- Provide leadership to the team by sharing best practices, promoting a positive attitude, and serving as a resource to the service team regarding complex self-funded accounts
- Coordinate marketing and renewal process, ensuring strategic solutions are aligned with company culture and long-term goals
- Effectively utilize resources and tools to maximize efficiency in managing client deliverables, including Wellness solutions
- Develop and maintain dependable working relationships in both internal and external partnerships, by prioritizing workflow and ensuring accountability
- Consult with clients on all compliance requirements, educate and advise with confidence on ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, SPDs, Form 5500s, local and corporate standards, among other topics through meetings, webinars, legislative updates, and other resources
- Oversee issue resolution between client and vendor, serve as primary contact to resolve any escalated service issues
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting: Client Financial Reporting, Client Executive Summary, UR Reports, Carrier Contract Analysis and Agency Commissions
- Generate new business opportunities through cross selling

- Knowledge and training on the requirements of health care reform
- Well versed in both fully insured and alternative-funded (self-funded) programs
- College Degree, Active GA Resident Agent License and (3-5) years’ experience
