Commercial Lines Technical Assistant

About the Commercial Lines Technical Assistant Role:

The individual in this position is highly engaged in the customer service process. They will be directly assisting our Commercial Lines Client Managers who are committed to providing best in industry service.

What are the responsibilities of the role?

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Learning the Agency Management System, Applied (EPIC)
  • Prioritizing and responding to requests from Client Managers and Assistant Client
    Managers
  • Endorsements: Process Change Requests and Endorsements
  • Certificates of Insurance: Adding Certificate Holders and issuing Certificates. Mailing
    Renewal Certificates to holders.
  • Auto ID Cards: Preparing Auto ID Cards for Renewals
  • Evidence of Property: Issuing Evidence of Property
  • Processing Policies: Creating Policy Books, Hole Punching, Creating Tabs, Mailing Policy
    Books
  • Corresponding with Clients and Carriers
  • Maintaining Client Files using the proper agency procedures and standards
  • Switchboard Operations for back-up
  • Mailroom Operations for back-up
  • Documenting Renewals for Bonds and Attaching Correspondence
  • Form Letters
  • Add New Clients and Prospects
  • Managing download exceptions files from carriers
