One of the Agents of the Year is our very own, Chip Renno, CIC, CRM, ARM, CWCP, CPIA, a relationship builder who has made a significant impact in the insurance industry. With over 30 years of experience, Chip has worked diligently to be an advocate and commercial insurance/risk management advisor for a variety of valued commercial property and casualty (P&C) clients. He specializes in manufacturing, distribution, artisan contractors, and service companies. Chip attributes his success to his proactive service and marketing strategy model, which revolves around taking great care of his existing clients and constantly evolving his skills and knowledge through continuing education.
Chip’s career has taken him through a few long-term stints with independent agencies, and in 2018, he joined the team at Snelling Walters as a producer. He became a principal and board member in 2021. Chip acknowledges the importance of his exceptional service team in helping him build his reputation. He credits their high sense of urgency and dedication to exceeding clients’ expectations for freeing up his time to focus on building relationships and prospecting for new business. Chip’s commitment to providing outstanding service has earned him referrals from clients and others in his community, which has helped him consistently grow his client base year after year.
