How Gratitude Can Transform the Workplace

How Gratitude Can Transform the Workplace

The last few years have been a whirlwind, to say the least. Business as normal has shifted for many organizations, including our own, and employees have had to be more resilient and adaptable than ever before.

As we reflect on the last year, we can’t help but come back to our word for 2021 – Gratitude.

Gratitude not only transforms lives but also the workplace.

We selected the word gratitude for this year because we hope to be a business comprised of people who embody gratitude in everything that we do. Whether we are in the office, working from home, serving clients, or spending time with our family and friends, we hope to lead with gratitude.

As you can see from the video above, our team is grateful for many different things this year. Our culture, values, growth opportunities, clients, family, and friends are just to name a few.

Stopping and giving thanks is a transformational practice that can create a significant impact not only in your personal life but also in the workplace. When is the last time that you took a step back and reflected on what you’re grateful for? Or stopped and told someone why you were grateful for them?

“Gratitude is the ultimate performance-enhancing substance at work. It heals, energizes, and transforms lives in a myriad of ways.”

David Emmons
