Continuity Risk Partners Has Joined Snellings Walters

Some clients of Peter Wilcox Sr. and Jr. have been with the firm for three generations. Most of the team at Continuity Risk Partners has been there for decades too, averaging twenty-three years of service.
When they thought about what came next, those relationships were what Peter Sr. and Jr. set out to protect. They had options, including larger firms. What they cared about most was finding a place that would look after their clients and their people the way they always have.
They found it at Snellings Walters. Both believe this work is bigger than any one person, and that these relationships are meant to be preserved, not taken for granted or left behind. The Wilcoxes built something worth continuing, and Snellings Walters is built to continue it.
This legacy did not begin with Peter Jr.. His father, Peter Wilcox Sr., joined the practice in 1978, and in 2026 Continuity Risk Partners marked seventy-six years of serving clients. Now he is joining Snellings Walters alongside his son, to perpetuate those relationships into the future.
“I knew Snellings Walters was my business home before I ever started this journey. Integrity and character are what really matter in this business. Do you keep your word? Do you put clients before yourself? I watched for that over many years before I made the first call to Clay Snellings, and I told our consultant from the start that this was my first choice. Diligence only confirmed what we already knew.”
— Peter Wilcox Jr., Commercial Insurance Partner
Billy Potter frames it as a promise.
“Peter didn’t have to choose us, and that means everything. Growth has never been about getting bigger for its own sake. It is about bringing exceptional people together and creating more opportunity for one another. That is the promise I made him. His people are our people now, and we will invest in them and believe in them the way he always has. We exist to inspire confidence, and that starts on the inside.”
— Billy Potter, CEO, Snellings Walters
Peter and his team are already at work alongside Snellings Walters. For any owner who has spent a career building something meant to last, this is what it can look like to protect it.
