Why Steve does what he does: I enjoy helping people make sense of the insurance buying process and providing them the opposite of the “1-800 experience” that has become the norm today for too many business transactions.
Steve began his insurance career in 1992 with a national insurance carrier as a commercial lines underwriter. In 2002, he and wife Cindy opened Southern Insurance Associates of Dunwoody, a full-service independent insurance agency, that they ran successfully for twenty-two years. In August of 2024, Steve and Cindy merged SIA of Dunwoody with Snellings Walters Insurance Agency to increase the market offerings for their clients. Steve’s business model is simply, to provide clients an improved insurance buying experience by delivering prompt, friendly service. When away from work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family in the NC mountains.
