Born and raised in Athens, GA, John attended the University of Georgia, graduating with a BBA in Finance. After finishing school, John started his insurance career and went to a small agency owner. John has focussed on property and casualty insurance for the last 20 years.
John and his wife Stephanie have 2 sons, Caleb and Nolan. The Streer family attends Athens Church and enjoy cheering on the Dawgs. If they are not at a travel baseball tournament, the family can be found playing tennis, golf, or spending time at the lake.
