3 Benefits You Can Offer Employees While Working from Home

working from home

With most companies making the transition to working from home, it can be very challenging to maintain a strong company culture and stay connected through a screen. Here are 3  benefits you can offer employees while working from home.

Workspace Stipend

According to a 2018 report by Clutch, 61% of employees value an aesthetically pleasing, comfortable workspace. Work environments matter and create an impact on your employees’ productivity.

While working from home, it’s important to ask your employees how their at-home spaces can be improved to boost productivity and overall employee satisfaction. A great way to make sure your employees are taken care of, even while working from home, is to offer a work-from-home stipend where employees can purchase a monitor, desk, laptop stand, etc., to enhance their spaces!

Surprise Deliveries

Home delivery services are a great way to brighten your employees’ day and bring your company culture to their homes. If your office used to host large team lunches, maybe think about sending an Uber Eats gift card every once in a while to change up your team’s lunch routine from home. Or maybe your office is known for specialty coffee and snacks, try providing employees with a monthly coffee subscription or a fun snack pack delivery. This is a great way to bring the office to the home and show your employees that you care.

Health and Wellness Benefits

Health is one of the most desirable benefits to employees, whether they are in the office or not. In fact, according to a recent survey from the Harvard Business Review, 88% of people said that they would consider health benefits before accepting a job. Healthy employees are typically happy employees and productive employees. If health insurance is too costly for you to offer, it’s important to think about how else you can provide wellness perks. A few ideas to consider are implementing a virtual wellness program or providing a monthly fitness stipend to show you care about their wellbeing even from afar.
