Assistant Treasurer

This senior position is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the treasury department for the Agency. The Assistant Treasurer will execute treasury functions including bank relationships and cash management. They will work closely with both the accounts payable and accounts receivable groups to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees daily management of cash and debt
  • Responsible for maintaining banking relationships
  • Responsible for month-end collections and payables reporting
  • Oversees all back-office support for in-house banking
  • Assists executive management with reporting for the Board and external financial
  • Supports M&A activity related to treasury functions, including due diligence and treasury
  • Assists with treasury activities and guarantees the financial transactions,  policies, and
    procedures fulfill the organization’s goals and requirements as well as regulatory body
  • Ensures proper internal controls are in place for regulatory requirements
  • Assists with Agency cash flow forecasting

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business required
  • MBA or advanced degree in finance required
  • Experienced finance professional with significant corporate finance and treasury experience
